Gifted: Back-to-School Experience

The Instor3 Project Gifted: Back-to-School Experience was created to ensure that USD 500 high school students enter the school year not only prepared with essential resources, but connected to real opportunities for their future. This experience goes beyond a traditional back-to-school event by providing students and families with access to career pathways, workforce and trades exposure, wellness supports, educational opportunities, and community resources designed to support long-term success.

Students will engage in hands-on activations focused on music and entertainment, culinary arts, STEM, college and career pathways, pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and health and wellness while receiving essential school items including laptop backpacks, athletic shoes, noise-canceling headphones, and more. The Gifted Experience is presented by The Basement_LA in partnership with the Kansas City Kansas Foundation for Excellence and community partners committed to investing in the future of Wyandotte County students and families.
